BIO incubates biotech DAOs and DeSci projects, aiming to fund and support researchers and builders in this innovative space. Our programs help teams understand and overcome the unique challenges of building both a DAO and a biotech organization. Our ultimate goal is to grow decentralized science, biotech initiatives, and accelerate scientific R&D.
Accelerator Program Overview:
Duration: 16 weeks hybrid model (IRL, remote)

Structure: Organized into 3 foundational program milestones, culminating in the public launch of new biotech DAOs
Key Features:
Funding and Resources: Participants receive financial backing through the Bio Protocol. We provide playbooks and frameworks for launching a biotech DAO.
Mentorship: The program provides guidance from experts in various fields, including scientific diligence, governance, tokenomics, legal, Web3/DeFi, and community building.
Networking: Participants gain access to a growing network of contributors, mentors, scientists, and builders in the DeSci ecosystem.
Shared Governance: Successful DAOs receive shared governance rights in bio.xyz, fostering a collaborative ecosystem.
Technical Support: Web3 expertise is not required, just the will to learn. The program offers a suite of technical frameworks and resources to facilitate the launch and maintaince of biotech DAOs. The Bio Protocol also provides deep web3 and DeFi integrations, so you don't have to.
