Genesis User Guide
This is a step by step guide on how to participate in the BIO token launch via the BIO Genesis Swap app.
1. Start by Connecting your wallet in the top right corner of the screen. Click the button “connect”
2. Navigate to the swap section that hosts 9 separate auctions all listed in a table.
3. You can find information about each auction in the table overview as well as in the expandable dropdown. For example, you can see:
- your token balance of the auction token
- Your swap activity
- Total amount of tokens swapped and remaining tokens available to be swapped until deposit cap is reached.
If you want to buy any of the 9 eligible tokens, you click the button “Get xDAO token” which opens up a CowSwap widget, through which you can acquire more tokens for the swap. Alternatively you can go to any other Decentralized Exchange of your choosing (e.g Uniswap, 1inch).
5. Now that you are all set up with the eligible tokens you want to swap for BIO, you can begin to swap in any of the auctions you want to participate in.
6. Click the button “Swap for BIO”
7. Enter the token amount you want to swap in
8. Review the terms & conditions and accept them by ticking the box.
9. Click “Approve Swap” to approve your wallet to spend the amount of tokens you entered.
10. Your wallet should pops-up. Approve the transaction that approves the swap amount in your wallet.
Now click “SWAP” to finalize the swap.
Your swap was successful. You can come back to claim your vBIO (vesting BIO) and BIO at the end of the auction. The first round of the auction lasts until $5m of total contributed value across all tokens, or 11 days passes. For updates on the auction click the button "Get updates on Genesis" to join the BIO Telegram group.
You can review your swaps and swap activity by the community in the activities table. Filter between “All swaps” and “My Swaps”.
